Welsh soccer player Ramsey has raised the bounty for information concerning his vanished canine Halo to $$20k.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who went missing on 9 October, was wearing a GPS collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any information concerning our beloved Halo please contact us. Big incentive for locating her. We are all praying she's ok and can be back to our family quickly," Ramsey posted on social media.
The footballer first announced that Halo had gone missing a fortnight back and has since posted numerous pictures of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A £7,500 bounty was originally provided, but with no news on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones increased the amount.
"Our only wish is Halo back," he said in an additional plea on social media after the decade-old dog was lost.
The latest picture share is a black and white photo of the beagle snoozing, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the caption: "How I wish to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."
The footballer has also shared a note from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have some "serious concerns" surrounding the incident and fear the family "could possibly not obtain clarity".
"To this day we are still searching for our dog. It is unlikely we ever will," his wife's update expressed.
The Welsh skipper signed with Mexican premier team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his debut in Liga MX in the eighth month.
